HISTORY

Abductions Band

Abductions was formed under strong influences from conspiracy theories involving governments and military forces. The band was founded by Sebas S, former member of Luctiferu and Apostles of Perversion, who decided to create his own project together with friends, like any young enthusiast of extreme music.

Abductions Band

This story began in 2009 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Over the years, the band went through several line-up changes, featuring musicians such as drummer Iuri from the band Exterminated, also from the same city, and bass players like Rickley Ventercour, among others.

During this early period, Abductions recorded a three-track EP, completely homemade but extremely powerful. As time passed, Sebas moved to the Canary Islands, where he reconnected with an old friend, Mauricio T, guitarist and drummer of the band Faecal Putrefaction, who encouraged him to return to playing and recording music.

Around 2022, approximately twelve years later, Abductions released new material again: a four-track EP titled Suffocated Memories. This release was fully experimental while still remaining faithful to Death Metal. Like previous recordings, it was entirely homemade, recorded directly through an overdrive pedal into an iPad using GarageBand.

Some years later, new musicians joined the project to record the single "Smash My Brain." In 2024, Abductions released their first full-length album, Failed Humanity, through the French label Percussive Spectre. In 2025, the band followed up with a new release titled Tentacles of Terror.

Today, Abductions is at its strongest point, currently working on a new album scheduled for release in 2026.
